Fixes:
+- More SSL fixes. SSL wants the underlying socket non-blocking. So we
+ don't call socket.setdefaulttimeout in case of SSL. This apparently

+ the bytes already read are dropped (seems the WantReadError is really
+ an error, not just an indication to retry).
