ncmpc INSTALL
=============

Requirements
------------

  * a C99 compliant compiler (e.g. gcc)
  * libmpdclient 2.9
  * ncurses (ncursesw for unicode / wide character support)
  * GLib 2.30


Configure and compile
---------------------

Download and unpack the source code:

 tar xjf ncmpc-x.y.z.tar.bz2
 cd ncmpc-x.y.z

Run "./configure" (or "./autogen.sh" if you cloned from git):

 ./configure

The configure option "--help" lists all available compile time
options.

Compile and install:

 make
 sudo make install
