From 921eabde9d0b9b43b293b37ac701bdfd10a64f54 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Pete Harlan Date: Sun, 9 May 2010 13:10:17 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] clone: reword messages to match the end-user perception When cloning into a non-bare repository, e.g. "git clone $URL mine", we used to report that we are cloning into "mine/.git". Reword the report to say "Cloning into mine" instead, as that matches what the end-user asked for closer. Make the message for "git clone --bare $URL mine" to say "Cloning into bare repository mine" do make the distinction between this case and the above stand out a bit more prominently.
