From: Stephen Boyd Date: Mon, 23 Mar 2009 02:14:03 +0000 (-0700) Subject: format-patch: pass a commit to reopen_stdout() X-Git-Tag: v1.6.3-rc0~32^2~5 X-Git-Url: https://git.tokkee.org/?a=commitdiff_plain;h=cd2ef591c8e753fe5295ac3c6f1dee481f00a185;p=git.git format-patch: pass a commit to reopen_stdout() We use the commit to generate the patch filename in reopen_stdout() before we redirect stdout. The cover letter codepath creates a dummy commit with the desired subject line 'cover letter'.
