  51 Tobias Oetiker is an electrical engineer by education and a system
  52 administrator by vocation. For ten years he has been working for the
  53 Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, providing students
  54 and staff with a deluxe Unix workstation environment. In 2006 he
  55 started his own company OETIKER+PARTNER AG, running Unix servers for
  56 industry customers, improving his pet open source projects MRTG,
  57 RRDtool, and SmokePing, and applying these tools to solve the customers'
  58 problems.

  60 In November 2006, Tobias received the prestigious SAGE Outstanding
  61 Achievement Award for his work on MRTG and RRDtool.
